All art is displayed with the artist's permission.
Exceptions to this rule are language barriers or the lack of means to contact the artist,
in which case I will still link back to the source (their gallery/website),
hoping that they don't mind the additional publicity.
And I doubt they do since I make these kinds of exceptions only for very good artists.
What makes a featured artist "featured"?
There are various factors: One is that their art may simply look more professional (IMHO).
Another is that their art may be all over the internet without anyone knowing who it's from,
in which case I'll try to raise awareness by putting them in the featured category.
Another possibility is that they are really active or very original in what they do.
